A city is never just one thing – it is layers of people, history, and movement existing together. Kehoes is a 19th century pub in the typical Victorian style with beautiful features like stained glass mahogany doors, and traditional snugs inside. Part of my ‘Layers of Dublin’ series, this piece depicts the Kehoes Pub overlaid with a hand holding a pint of Guinness – depicting the human aspect bringing colour and life to buildings and places. This artwork is part of Layers of Dublin, a series exploring the iconic places of Dublin and the people who shape them.
